About Voices of Change

Voices of Change is a six-week summer program within our Explore Next Door initiative, bringing together middle and high school students from underserved communities for a hands-on experience in environmental learning, leadership, and creative storytelling.

Students work alongside professional media mentors and local artists to explore real environmental issues impacting their communities. Through this process, they build skills in filmmaking, storytelling, and creative expression while developing confidence and leadership.

Throughout the program, youth document their experiences and perspectives, leading to the creation of a student-produced documentary that highlights environmental stewardship, cultural identity, and community voice.

The program culminates in a public showcases featuring the documentary and environmentally themed art installations—amplifying youth voices and inspiring positive change in their communities.

About BIPOC Support Foundation (BSF)

The BIPOC Support Foundation (BSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening communities through education, mentorship, and access to meaningful opportunities.

We provide hands-on programs that integrate environmental learning, the arts, and social-emotional development, creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

Through after-school programs, summer experiences, and community partnerships, BSF helps youth build confidence, explore their identities, and develop the skills they need to succeed—both in school and in life.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to inclusion, belonging, and representation. While we focus on supporting underserved communities, we believe in creating inclusive spaces where all young people can thrive.

When we invest in our youth, we invest in the future.
