In the summer of 2020 until the end of 2022, the BIPOC Support Foundation supported and provided funding and resources to 15 small business owners. In partnership with SCORE, business owners were able to find mentors for support in areas of marketing, finances, and formulating a business plan.
According to these business owners, the emergency hardship grants were impactful and helpful during the pandemic. 14 out of the 15 small businesses survived the pandemic and half of the business owners report that their business is thriving.
